June 10 marks my second anniversary of being a published author!  Yay!!! Fun was had by all!

However, in looking back over my illustrious career I have noticed that not only do I have a painful compulsion to name ALL my male characters Dan or Danny, I also seem to have an issue with titles. Out of fourteen novels or novellas I have Shying Away, Shining Armor, The Shift, and Shadow Valley. Does someone have a bit of an obsession with Shhhhh? Shure seems like it! Also, my first m/m novel? Dark Horse. My first YA novel? Dark Houses. Clearly, I have issues.

But, whatever! Two years of publication! Thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way - I'm having a blast.

Congrats on your anniversary last summer! About names, I find it horribly difficult to find names that are not repetitive, or lame, or overused. I've tried all kinds of naming strategies, including ethnic baby name books... writing a series sure helps! There are fewer names to come up with. I stand in awe of Orson Scott Card and his evocative character names. You aren't suffering the name trauma alone :-)

BTW thanks for the novella freebies from your Dark Horse series. They make awesome post-holiday decompression reading!
