A reader recently e-mailed me to ask me about the release date for Out of the Darkness (the sequel to Dark Horse), and I told her that I had no idea, but thought it was scheduled for sometime in August. She e-mailed me back and told me she'd looked into it, and it was coming out on August 9th. Good to know!

So I went to the Dreamspinner site, and it looks like they've not only got a release date, but also a final version of the cover! (See icon, or go to the Dreamspinner Page for the full-size image). I think I like it. Hopefully other people will too...

I so cannot wait! I've actually been checking the Coming Soon page every couple of days to find out, it's now marked in my diary!

So I'm guessing from the cover that it's, Evan, Dan, then Jeff? I always wonder about who's who when it comes to covers.

I think so. Evan's not quite how I picture him (my Evan is a little more buff, and his head isn't so pointy!), but I think they're pretty close on Dan and Jeff. (I'm not quite sure why Dan is posed like that, but, oh well!)

Have to say that Dark Horse was one of the best stories I have read for a long time. I didn't want it to end. So, I was really excited about the second book. I really appreciated the blogs that gave us the back stories. Don't worry, I don't think we will be disappointed with Out of the darlness. thanks again for bringing us these great characters to us. cheers S
