Holy SMOKES...

I'm writing the big, emotional denouement in my current novel, and I'm just SOBBING. It's pathetic! I haven't cried this hard while writing since Dark Horse.

What is it that makes us torture ourselves like this? It's not FUN to be sad - what am I DOING?!?

I honestly think my eyelids may be chapped, from trying to rub away the tears so I can see to keep writing. It's absurd!

Is this Trifecta? I know you mentioned that one was going to be a 3some as well. Either way I'm looking forward to it. Another tearjerker huh? Gotta have the tissues handy then. :)

No, Trifecta isn't too tear-jerky. I think I got a little sad for one scene, but I always knew things were going to turn out okay, so it didn't really affect me too much.

This one is currently titled Shying Away - who knows if its eventual publisher will keep that name, though. The main character is a damaged drifter, kind of like pre-Justin Dan, and sorting through the causes of his damage - ouch!
