Just an update - nothing too new!
May. 12th, 2011 08:03 pmThings are going well, here. Shying Away seems to have solid sales, and it's getting good customer reviews at Goodreads, etc. I'm still waiting (a little anxiously), for a 'pro' review, but other than that, I think it's time to put my new-release-stalking-hat back in the closet and get on with the writing.
Actually, while I was stalking, I put together a novella for a Samhain 'Special Call' - Superheroes! Fun, right? I have no idea if what I wrote is what they're looking for, and I've not had much luck with Samhain to date, but I really like the story. It's come back from my betas, and they had some really good suggestions for how to make it better, so I've got work to do. If that all happens, even if it doesn't work out at Samhain, I think it'll find a home somewhere. Which would make it my first novella! It's kind of a fun length. There's no room for subplots or too much development of anyone but the main characters, and I went for a single character POV for brevity. Efficient.
