Finally, a Shying Away review! Oh, wait...

Huh. Shying Away just got the lowest 'pro' level review any of my books have ever gotten. (yeah, okay... it's here.)

I wish there had been reviews posted at other review sites so I could get a wider perspective on it all, but I think I'm still pretty pleased with the book. It's not Dark Horse. I loved Dark Horse, too, but it's done, and I don't think it's a good idea to keep trying to rewrite the same damn book. I tried to write a sequel, even, and it ended up tepid at best. (Chris does not WANT drama in his life, damn it. He'll just adjust to whatever I throw at him).

Shying Away has gotten good reviews at Goodreads, AllRomanceE-books, and Amazon, so maybe I'll just have to be happy with that. It's not for everybody, but it's what I set out to write, so...

I read 'Shying Away' yesterday in one sitting in about four hours and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I disagree with this review, as I didn't find the pace slow at all. 'The playboy and the virgin' may not be a new idea (I'm beginning to wonder if there are any new ideas), but it's all about the style and for me this book has plenty! I'll be looking out for more of your books to buy!
