Of Dark and Bright is the  third 'real' book in the Dark Horse series...

Jeff, Evan, and Dan have been living happily together for the past two years. They still have problems, especially between Evan and Dan, but they’re mostly able to convert the interpersonal disagreements to sexual tension—and then resolve it—so nobody’s complaining.

Then Dan’s long-lost sister shows up seven months pregnant and on the run from the law, and the situation goes from complicated to overwhelming. Jeff and Evan want to help, but with Evan fearful for his own sister’s safety and Jeff struggling to keep his health issues under wraps, they’re a little distracted. As Dan's sister struggles with her past, Evan's seems intent on gambling with her future. With emotions and family ties pulling them in different directions, the threesome have to hold together—or the people they love may tear them apart.

It's available in e-book and paperback from Dreamspinner Press, and I think it's also already at ARe. Amazon probably later today? Buying from Dreamspinner is the best for me, royalties wise, but if somewhere else is more convenient for you, go for it! A sale's a sale!

I'm feeling really insecure about this one. It's been a long time since I wrote in this 'verse, and I still love the boys, and I still know them inside and out, but my writing style has changed. People who loved the loose, rambling style of the first books, the way we all crawled inside Dan's head and stayed there for days on end... they might be surprised by this book, and I just hope it's not an unpleasant surprise, you know?

I've heard some people... fancy people... put links in their posts. I went for a slightly simpler approach, but I guess a link wouldn't kill me...

Of Dark and Bright is available from Dreamspinner press as an e-book or paperback. It's also probably available from your favorite e-book retailer, either today or tomorrow.

Amazon's being a bit weird about getting everything set up for Of Dark and Bright. For example - I have no idea why it says three print copies are available and ALSO says the book is sold out. No thoughts on that. And I don't really understand why the kindle version isn't linked to the print version, or why it's so hard to find the kindle version via searching. It'll probably sort itself out soon, but in the meantime, the kindle version is at

Okay. More writing, less stalking!
